The Home Backup publishes plain diagrams about home backup power: runtime math, fridge duty cycles, outage maps, and how power reaches a house when the grid is out. This page is the index. License terms live on image license.

We keep the catalog small on purpose. Digits on the charts come from dated manufacturer snapshots and the site’s load calculator assumptions, not from a lab we invent. Product photographs of named Jackery, BLUETTI, or Anker SOLIX machines are the makers’ own US product photos and are called out under each product page; they are not the seed assets described here.
What you’ll find here
- Wave 1 educational charts (nights on a 2048 Wh tank, start/keep/how-long grid, fridge duty cycle, EIA SAIDI map, three architectures, three connection paths).
- Later: Flickr and Commons live links once SITE_LIVE and uploads are done (see the growth image lock). Until those URLs are pasted into the live-url sheet, treat this page as the on-site home for the kit.
