Match the bus before you buy an expansion pack
A matching number on the sticker is not a matching expansion bus. Before you buy a second battery for a Jackery, BLUETTI or Anker SOLIX station, confirm the official pack SKU for that exact station, the cable the maker lists, and the series rules. Voltage alone never proves fit.
The short version
- Expansion pack compatibility gate for the Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus, Explorer 1000 Plus, Explorer 5000 Plus, BLUETTI AC200L and Anker SOLIX C2000 Gen 2.
- Match official pack SKU, maker cable, series lock and printed pack voltage.
- Pack prices checked November 4, 2026 on maker pages; blanks stay blank.
What bus matching means here
An expansion port is not a solar input and not a generic lithium jack. Match four things: the printed pack voltage (or a blank), the official pack SKU, the maker cable (for the AC200L that is the P090A), and the maximum pack count when the maker prints one.
Same brand does not mean same bus. Explorer 2000 Plus packs print about 45 volts; Explorer 5000 Plus packs print about 112 volts. The Anker SOLIX BP2000 Gen 2 pack is listed for the C2000 Gen 2 only.

The pack table
Specs are as printed on the official US maker pages we opened October 6, 2026. Pack prices were checked on the same maker pages November 4, 2026. EcoFlow is for comparison only; it has no store link here.
| Station | Printed pack volts | Official pack | Cable | Max packs | Pack price, November 4, 2026 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus | 44.8 V DC | Battery Pack 2000 Plus | Official expansion cable; not for HomePower 2000 Plus v2 | 5 (about 12.3 kWh, math below) | $799, orderable |
| Jackery Explorer 1000 Plus | 41.6 V DC | Battery Pack 1000 Plus | Official cable; not for HomePower 1000 Plus v2 | 3 | $599, sold out when checked |
| Jackery Explorer 5000 Plus (same brand, different bus) | 112 V DC | Battery Pack 5000 Plus | Official cable; a different bus from the 1000 Plus and 2000 Plus | 5 per station | $2,599, orderable |
| BLUETTI AC200L | 51.2 V DC (B300K rating) | B300 or B300K | P090A cable, $99, orderable | Not printed | B300K $1,199, orderable; B300 $1,399, sold out |
| Anker SOLIX C2000 Gen 2 | Not printed | BP2000 Gen 2 | Cable in the box; C2000 Gen 2 only, not F2000 | Not printed | $899.99, orderable |
| EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max (compare only) | 51.2 V | DELTA 2 Max Smart Extra Battery | Official cable | 2 | $899, sold out when checked |
Notes. Pack volts are the maker’s printed rating; matching them alone does not prove fit. Jackery prints about 2,042.8 Wh for the Explorer 2000 Plus and for each Battery Pack 2000 Plus, so the station plus five packs is (1 + 5) × 2,042.8 Wh, about 12,257 Wh or 12.3 kWh of printed capacity, not usable runtime. Anker’s page says the C2000 Gen 2 can double to about 4 kWh; that is marketing copy, not a printed pack limit, so the cell stays blank. The AC200L maximum pack count was not cleanly printed on the BLUETTI pages we opened, so it stays blank. Battery Pack 1000 Plus and Battery Pack 2000 Plus are not swaps.
Wrong pack limit: do not buy on volts alone
Matching the printed voltage alone does not make an expansion pack compatible. Chemistry, connector pinout, series protocol, the official cable and firmware all have to match the maker’s pairing for that exact station. If the maker does not list the pair, do not buy it. Treat “not listed” as a hard no.
Cart mistakes this page stops:
- Same brand, wrong series. Battery Pack 2000 Plus is not listed for the HomePower 2000 Plus v2. Battery Pack 1000 Plus is not listed for the HomePower 1000 Plus v2. Explorer 5000 Plus packs print about 112 volts, not the 1000 Plus or 2000 Plus pack voltage.
- Same printed volts across brands. A BLUETTI, Anker or EcoFlow pack that prints 51.2 volts is still locked to that maker’s pairing list. It is not a cross brand swap.
- Same brand, wrong cable. For the AC200L with a B300 or B300K, the official cable on the BLUETTI pages is the P090A. Other BLUETTI stations use other cables; open the maker’s expansion page for your exact station before you buy one.
- Series and generation locks. BP2000 Gen 2 is for the C2000 Gen 2 only. For any other Anker station, read the maker’s pairing notes for your exact model first.
- Cable rule. Maker expansion cable only. Third party parallel kits and solar input hacks are out of scope.

If your station cleared the table and the list above, check the official expansion path on the maker you already own. Still deciding in the 2 kWh class: See Battery Pack 2000 Plus on Jackery.com ($799 and orderable when checked November 4, 2026; up to five packs at 44.8 volts). Own a BLUETTI AC200L? Confirm the B300 or B300K and the P090A cable before you buy anything that only says 51.2 volts: See BLUETTI B300K and the P090A cable on bluettipower.com (B300K $1,199 and cable $99 when checked November 4, 2026).
Runtime first, then expand
More watt hours only help after you know what the night draws. Run the fridge, sump, lamps and modem through the load calculator before you order a second box. If a CPAP is on the list, settings and the humidifier change the load; confirm the plan with the device maker and your doctor. The calculator is a sizing aid only.
Illustrative arithmetic, not a measured night: a fridge at about 120 watts for 10 hours is about 1,200 Wh before losses; allow about 15 percent for inverter and system loss and plan about 1,400 Wh of tank for that slice. Use the calculator with your own nameplates.
For the Explorer 2000 Plus, AC200L and C2000 Gen 2, an official pack is more watt hours on the station you already own. Read the maker’s printed continuous watts for that exact station before you assume the inverter got stronger.
When expansion is the wrong tool
- Your station supplies only 120 volts, but your well pump or dryer needs 240 volts. See: best expandable home batteries.
- Third party parallel kits and solar input hacks are out of scope.
- You have never run your station through a real night. Size with the calculator first.
